The Importance of Fire Training
Friday, January 8th, 2010 | Article | No Comments
Under a new law passed in the United Kingdom, a company must give all its employees fire training. This has not gone down well with many companies, as they take it as a waste of their money, but this thing does have its benefits. When it comes to training, it has to be done by a fire marshal. He has to train everybody, and then has to give reports as to how every employee is performing. Although many don’t really like this law, but the truth of the matter is that it helps the companies and its employees in risky situations.
If asked me, I would say that this is a very good law as I think that fire training is essential for each and every person. As people all over the world know, United Kingdom is a country where most people are educated, yet there are many fires which cause a lot of damage. Besides the immediate damage caused by fire, people also die because of the smoke that is let out during a fire. When a fire starts, people tend to panic very easily. So if they have fire training they would be able to either avoid it or handle it. This way a lot of damage and loss can be prevented!
